TKS Motorsports and Ian Madsen aim big in Knoxville’s Season Championship and make-up feature
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (August 22, 2022) - After what turned out to be a shortened weekend in Jackson, Minnesota, missing main event competition during the Jackson Nationals doubleheader at Jackson Motorplex on Saturday, August 20, TKS Motorsports and Ian Madsen are ready to go back to the drawing board, aiming to cap the 2022 Knoxville Raceway regular season with a stout performance in the Season Championship on Saturday, August 27.
In addition, a make-up feature, rescheduled from Saturday, July 23, as the result of Mother Nature, will also be on Saturday’s Championship Night card; Madsen is scheduled to start on the front row.
“It wasn’t the best weekend for us, but it was a tough event. Our lap time there is limited and we went in there knowing what we were up against,” Troy Renfro stated, owner of the TKS Motorsports/Albaugh LLC/Iowa Barnstormers/deWit Construction/No. 2KS sprint car. “We have another big weekend ahead at Knoxville. Our goal is to cap the regular season with a bang and hopefully come out on top in both features.”
ON DECK:
TKS Motorsports and Ian Madsen will continue their 2022 campaign with Knoxville Raceway’s Season Championship on Saturday, August 27. A make-up feature will also be on the card with Madsen starting on the front row.
